Payment conditions

• Bookings for Giraffe Walks and game drives are done through the secure payment gateway on the website. 

• Full payment to secure bookings. 

• No refunds 2 weeks prior to booking. 

• 50% refund 2 weeks prior to booking.

• Holiday packages are booked via email request.

• 50% deposit needed to secure booking.

• The remainder amount must be settled 90 days prior to arrival. 

• No refund 90 days prior to arrival. 

• 20% service fee will be charged for cancellation more than 90 days before arrival. 

• For single supplements we add 50%.

Indemnity

• Visitors will be given indemnity forms to sign on arrival at the activity centre. 

• Acceptance of online payments also includes an indemnity form in our T’s&C’s.

• Swartberg Game Reserve will not be held liable for any accidents, loss of property or injury. 

• Swartberg Game Reserve will assist in calling authorities in the case of an emergency.

• Talk quietly when out in the bush

• Listen to the sounds of the bush, there is so much to hear in the stillness. 

• Please only smoke in designated areas

• Swartberg Game Reserve is private and will only be enjoyed by our guests.

• Oudtshoorn town has a state of the art medical facility and is 30 minutes from the reserve.

• Animal encounters will all be with a qualified guide.

• Indemnities provided on booking.
