Spend 3 days exploring Swartberg Game Reserve and the hidden gems of the Swartberg Mountain. An ideal summer and winter destination!
We've put together an activity-based package which includes walking, game drive sight-seeing, and other wildlife and nature based experiences. Your days will be full and soul enriching.
Swartberg Game Reserve is an established wildlife destination set amongst 8000ha of protected wilderness in the Klein Karoo. We are at the foot of the Swartberg Mountain and the views from the reserve are unprecedented.
Our ethos is to conserve and protect wildlife and the natural environment. We believe in responsible and eco tourism.
We are the wild home to buffalo, Cape Mountain Zebra, Giraffe and over 15 other antelope species. Predators like the Brown Hyena and Cape Mountain Leopard are becoming regular visitors to the reserve. Rare sightings include the Secretary bird, Aardwolf, Caracal, Honey Badger and various Bustard species.
This package will run both on the game reserve and in the surrounding area.
All trips are guided and range from 3-5 hours per day.
Accommodation
You'll stay at an eco-retreat nearby. They call themselves an oasis in the Klein Karoo and their beautiful guesthouse is set amongst lush trees and green grass. Rooms are quaint and comfortable. There is a fresh water dam and swimming pool for those hot summer evenings.
All meals are included and are locally sourced and cooked. Your lunches will be packed for you to eat on the game reserve or along a trail in the mountain.
Your stay is approximately 20 minutes from our entrance.

Included: all guesthouse sharing accommodation (twins available), all meals plus tea and coffee, 3 or 2 Swartberg Game Reserve experiences.
Not included: pick up from accommodation. This can be arranged. Beverages at your guesthouse are not included.
